If you are interested in a Thermax AF you can contact the factory in Reno, NV and they can direct you to the distributor nearest to where you live. You cannot purchase one through this site. As a matter of fact Vacuum Cleaner Review does not sell vacuum cleaners.

Over the years I have operated several offices which have sold 1000’s of vacuum cleaners and I myself have done hundreds of in-home demonstrations over the years.

You name it… I’ve seen it when it comes to the level of cleanliness in the average American home. I’ve actually done demonstrations where the entire time I was doing the demonstration

I could see a whole troop of roaches crawling on the walls giving the appearance that the wall was moving! I remember at that same house a mouse ran across my paperwork on the kitchen table as we were filling out the forms.

One thing sticks in my mind about that particular sale is the fact that the young couple with a baby knew that they were living in an un-healthy environment and they felt that the solution that I was offering them would help their situation… even though it cost over $1200.00 at the time.

Vacuum Cleaner Review Buying A Vacuum Cleaner

Buying a vacuum cleaner can be a hassle. You can buy a vacuum cleaner with one of two methods. Ready - Aim - Fire or Fire - Ready - Aim.

If you are reading these words I can safely assume that you are leaning towards the first method. So what I am going to try to do is put together enough information here at Vacuum Cleaner Review to allow you to make an intelligent buying decision about what vacuum cleaner would most likely fill the needs of your home and family.

The information that you find here at Vacuum Cleaner Review is not all inclusive or the last word in buying vacuum cleaners and it certainly will never be a finished work… but you should be able to glean enough info to get what you are looking for.

First of you should take this little test. The answers that you provide will point you in the right direction and enable you to zero in on exactly where you should go to look for prices first.

Vacuum Cleaner Review First Thing Vacuum Cleaner Review

The first thing that most people think that they need to decide is price range… not. I know, you’re saying wait a minute… I’ve got a budget and all the other websites say to write down a price range that I want to stay in and yada, yada, yada.

Forget price for the moment and really think about what it is you are buying. Are you buying a vacuum cleaner or are you shopping for a clean home environment? Hey you guys out there… when you go buy a drill what is it that you really want? It’s *holes*.

To give you an example, my wife Lavada is a great cook. She loves all the cooking shows and in my opinion is a chef in her own right. Well, we have had the same one oven 4 top burner electric oven for years and she was very happy with it… until one of the top burners went out. No problem, she still had three top burners to use… until another bit the dust.

Time to shop for a new stove. Now if it were up to me I would have been perfectly satisfied with another one just like the old one for $350 to $450. However, I don’t cook… as a matter of fact I am not allowed in the kitchen except to fix the tea and get the napkins. Oh, and make Lavada’s favorite… Chocolate drop oatmeal cookies… yum.

Anyway, to make a long story short we ended up with a stainless steel, dual oven, 4 burner gas stove with a stainless steel thing on top that sucks out the odors and smoke. I must say it’s very pretty. She knew exactly what she wanted. Good tasty food for us to eat with a minimum of hassle in preparing it.

Another observation that I have made over the years is that the average person seems to buy a new vacuum cleaner every 4 or 5 years. Why is that? Sometimes it’s because the thing just met an early demise but I think that most of the time it’s because the owner didn’t think that their vacuum cleaner was doing the job.

You would not believe the number of times that I have done demonstrations in the past in homes when I was demonstrating the Thermax AF when I would walk in and see a Kirby in one corner and a Rainbow in the other, and sometimes an Electrolux in the back bedroom.

I was out on a training demonstration one day and watched a young couple trade in a 6 month old Rainbow vacuum cleaner on a new Thermax AF. I’ve seen people who have spent over $3,000 to $4,000 on vacuum cleaners over a few short years.

Hopefully you won’t have to do this to find the vacuum cleaner you need if you follow the following steps. So forget the price for the moment and decide exactly what it is that you want to accomplish.

Vacuum Cleaner Review Step Two

Decide if you want an upright or a canister. The advantages of an upright is that it is easy to store and retrieve from the closet. It’s also a piece of cake to push around the room and for the most part the vacuum cleaner bags are easy to change.

Quite a few people are die hard canister vacuum cleaner users and wouldn’t have any thing else. With a canister vacuum cleaner you don’t have to push around anything that is heavy… just put the canister in the middle of the room and push the power nozzle over the carpet.

Plus, you can easily disconnect the power nozzle and attach one of several attachment to the end of your hose, such as duster brushes, crevice tools, bare floor brushes and upholstery had tools.

Decide what quality of construction it is that you are willing to settle for. A general rule of thumb is that the more money you invest in your vacuum cleaner the more ruggedly built the machine is. You’ve heard it a hundred times before but it bears repeating here. You get ____ ___ ___ ___.

You instinctively know without being told that a $99.00 green light special is not going to last as long as something that you have to invest more money in initially. Right?

Vacuum Cleaner Review Suction or Airflow?

Does anybody in your family have allergies? If so you definitely need to get a vacuum cleaner with the best filtration system that you can find. I know from experience that most of the cheap vacuum cleaners out there are nothing more that loud dust blowers.

If you don’t believe me I am going to give you a little homework project to complete before reading any further. Go to your closet and get your vacuum cleaner and take it to the living room or den. Now go find a lamp with at least a 100 watt bulb in it… preferably one with a shade that you can’t see through or a work light.

Now turn on the lamp and hold it next to your vacuum cleaner bag and turn it on for just 3 seconds. See what I mean. To take it one step further… unzip the cover that the actual paper bag is in and do the lamp test again.

Gag, gag, gag,

Vacuum Cleaner Review

As you see your inexpensive vacuum cleaner blow out the dust and germs just as fast as it sucks it up off the floor. And why is that you ask.

The reason is *holes* yes that’s right *holes*. Tiny pinprick holes in your paper bag. Well why in the world would they put holes all in my vacuum cleaner bag you now ask.

The reason is very simple… so your bag won’t explode. You see, what if your vacuum cleaner bag was made out of rubber. It would be very efficient at keeping all the dust and germs in the bag wouldn’t it. But since the air could not escape either it would blow up like a balloon and… you guessed it… POP!

Let’s see if you can answer this simple first grade question. What enables a vacuum cleaner to pick the dirt and dust up off the carpet or floor in the first place… suction or airflow? tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. Times up. Vacuum Cleaner Review Surprise!

The answer is here (spelled backwards so you won’t cheat) WOLFRIA Surprise, surprise, surprise!
